James Bond director, Guy Hamilton dies at 93

 
Hamilton worked behind the camera on a total of 22 films over the span of his career.
Guy Hamilton – who directed four James Bond films, including 1964’s ‘Goldfinger’ starring Sir Sean Connery – has passed away aged 93.
The filmmaker passed away at his home in Majorca, Spain on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, although details surrounding his death are yet to be revealed.
88-year-old English actor, Roger Moore, who worked with the veteran director on ‘Live and Let Die’ and ‘The Man with the Golden Gun’, broke the news via his Twitter account.
 Hamilton, who was born in Paris, worked behind the camera on a total of 22 films over the span of his career but was best known for directing 1964’s ‘Goldfinger’ with Sean Conneryas 007 before returning to the franchise with ‘Diamonds Are Forever’ – with the same actor in the lead – in 1971.
